Dr. Afzal is Regional Director of Inpatient Care for the Rural Physicians Group. He helps oversee the Hospitalists in Acute Care at Mackinac Straits Hospital. Throughout his academic and professional pursuits, he has served as a Hospitalist in both urban and rural communities.
