Dr. Moffat is now seeing patients in the St. Ignace Medical Clinic along with performing general surgery cases, including endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures at Mackinac Straits Hospital.
He is an experienced surgeon, practicing in the Gaylord area for the last 16 years. Along with the usual General Surgery problems such as hernia and gallbladder, soft tissue disease, vascular access, etc., his practice has always focused to a large extent on GI and Colorectal problems including Dysphagia, GERD, ulcer disease, GI Bleeding, Divertculosis, colon screening and colon cancer. Dr. Moffat has also received GI training at the Fellowship level with his personal experience approaching some 20,000 endoscopic procedures, both EGD and colonoscopy.
