We are pleased to announce our Shining Star Program, a new initiative that gives grateful patients and families a meaningful way to honor the caregivers who made a difference in their lives. Thanks to the generosity and engagement of supports through the Mackinac Straits Health Foundation, this program helps celebrate the exceptional compassion, skill and dedication that define our Health System. When an employee is nominated as a Shining Star, they receive a certificate and a commerative gift. They are recognized  across our organization for their remarkable service. These expressions of gratitude  not only uplift individual team members, they also strengthen a culture of caring.

Programs like Shining Star shine a light on extraordinary care and helps ensure these stories are celebrated.
