*Reminder – Our Fast Care (Walk-in Clinic) is also available at the Mackinac Straits Hospital in St. Ignace, 7 days a week, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please report to the Emergency Desk when arriving at the Hospital.

**To be a Level IV Trauma Center, a Hospital must demonstrate the ability to provide evaluations, stabilize, and diagnose injured patients. Requirements also include having 24-hour laboratory coverage, along with trained  trauma nurses and physicians upon patient arrival. At this level, a transfer agreement for patients who may require more comprehensive care at a higher level has been developed.
